Fat Loss Dieting – Simple Techniques To Achieve Your Goals

If you’re at your wits end when it comes to how to lose belly fat, if every diet under the sun has come and gone and nothing’s working, then it’s time to dump the miracle diets, dump the fitness fads, and start getting real about losing weight. The truth about burning fat isn’t an easy one to swallow, but the fact is that proper nutrition and exercise, as well as drinking plenty of water, is the only fat loss diet that works. Follow these steps and the rest will be easy.

More Water

If you’re ever browsing through a diet book, a plan, a workout regimen, a new fitness craze, and you don’t see any mention of drinking more water, then put that book, plan, outline or website away and forget about it. The fact is, anything that has to do with fitness involves drinking more water. Want to build muscle? Drink more water. Want to get over a headache? Stay hydrated. Want to have more energy, build up your stamina, improve the quality of your hair or skin, and, of course, lose weight? Water, water, and water is the answer. You stay hydrated, you stay regular, you retain less weight, and you lose weight faster. Switch off the sugary drinks and drink more water.

Avoid One Item Diets

You need to follow the food pyramid. If you’re trying to follow a diet that has you eating all protein or all fat or all fiber or all ANYTHING, then dump it immediately, because it’s bad for you. If you’re on an all protein diet and you’re losing weight, call the doctor, because you’re losing tissue that you NEED, like bone density, muscle mass, and organ tissue, and you may need some serious vitamin supplements to get it back. If you’re losing weight without exercise, then you need to start eating better right now.

Work Out

There is no such thing as a healthy diet that allows you to lose weight without exercise. There just plain isn’t. Fat is extra energy, and without expending that extra energy, it’s going to stay exactly where it is: On your stomach, in your hips, and all over your backside. If you’re not exercising, you’re not losing weight in a good, healthy, and safe way. You’re losing muscle mass, sure. You’re losing bone density and organ tissue, that’s a given. But you’re not burning fat unless you’re actually BURNING that fat off.

If you found this article in the hopes of finding another miracle diet to try, then sorry to say, that’s not what this is about. The fact is that fat burning amounts to common sense: Water, diet, exercise, and that’s it. But common sense hardly ever prevails in the current fitness world. It’s become very much of an industry, a way for people to get rich selling what you want to hear but never what you need to hear. The real answers of how to lose belly fat don’t sell, easy answers sell, and this leads to a lot of myths and information floating around. If you eat well and exercise, though, then you should be able to burn that fat off easily enough.
