How to Burn Off Love Handles

Burning off fat from your body is pretty much the same as learning how to get rid of love handles. However, there’s a chance that toning fat on this body part is a bit harder than others. Why is that? Well, one of the ways to learn how to eliminate love handles is finding out why they’re there in the first place.

Love handles give the appearance that the waistline is larger than it actually is with it’s strategic location at the sides. Ideally, these love handles grow larger as a person becomes older. However, for younger people, they appear due to a large fat percentage in the body.

Like most body imperfections, men and women alike experience negative feelings towards love handles. Love handles basically create a “sagging” impression on a person, making everything else – butt, thighs and belly – look bad. The bad news is that at time passes, they only grow bigger and would only weigh more on your self-image. Hence, you might want to get rid of them once they start to show up.

Your problem here is that fat burning is done last at the love handles. So you’ll find that it’s the last part that will be removed. So what this means is that you can jump, run or walk as much as you like, the love handles won’t go away unless all the other fat does.

What to Do

Learning how to get rid of love handles takes more than just target training. In fact, you won’t be doing much target training for this one. What you have to do here is ensure that you can establish and stick to a healthy diet. Now, when talking about your diet and exercise, you’ll have to consider a number of things. This basically covers the amount of weight you want to lose, how fast you want it gone and how much you can realistically lose in a period of time. You might also want to ask the help of a professional who can tell you how much exercise your body can tolerate. After all, you want to lose weight the healthy way and not just the fast way.

Of course, you might find yourself encountering pills that promise to rid you of love handles. Regardless of how many proofs or testimonials these pills have, keep in mind that the best way to lose weight is still through natural methods.

Currently, the most popular method used by people on how to lose love handles is liposuction. After all, results can be achieved in a matter of weeks. However, there have been cases where liposuction not only caused irreversible damages but also death. So you might first want to think about it before actually deciding to undergo a surgeons scalpel.

I suggest that when trying out exercises, concentrate more on isometric routines. What this does is tense the muscle without the need for movement. For example, you can push hard against a walls while feeling your muscles tense.
